LED Assembly Line
1. Small Production Line
- Affordable line is designed for small scaled production or contract manufacturing.
- The equipment in the line is selected regarding the wide range of tasks of a beginner company or small own manufacturing.
- The line equipment is maximally coordinated by specifications and abilities to consider it as a universal solution to assemble PCBs of various complexity.
- The line is fully automatic from loading of PCBs up to output of assembled product. One or two operators are enough for such line with positive influence to the cost of the product.
- The line works with any most frequently used SMD components – from small chip components 01005 up to big ICs 50 x 50 mm. Component mounting precision is ± 25 μm (at 3 σ).
- It corresponds to the best precision characteristics of up-to-date analogous equipment.
- Possibility to prepare work program offline together with intelligent feeders allows maximal preparation of a project before launching in the line.
- Changeover of the line to a new project takes only several minutes.
- The line capacity could be increased in the future by upgrading with more efficient pick-and-place system. It provides a large reserve for further development of the initial manufacturing with minimal investments.
2. Middle-sized Production Line for SMD Assembling
- A ready solution for contract manufacturing or companies with own manufacturing.
- The line equipment is capable of assembling PCBs up to 510 x 460 mm with speed up to 57,000 CPH.
- Quality control of product assembled in the line occurs in 2 stages: after solder paste printing and on the last assembly stage, after reflowing in the oven.
- Solder paste application in printer is controlled by built-in 3D control system.
- An optical inspection system programmed for testing of ready product is located after the reflow oven as well.
- Additional software enables preparing PCB assembly program in offline mode.
- It is possible to changeover the line for a new product in a few minutes using intellectual feeders and trolley feeder bases.
3. High Performance Flexible Line with Online Quality Control on All the Assembly Stages
- This solution will suit the up-to-date demanding manufacturers with mass product.
- In the conditions of frequently changing demands of the current market, the manufacturers would like to have a flexible production for timely manufacturing of product and for quality control to correspond all the up-to-date requirements.
- CETC offers the solution for big enterprises manufacturing different products with large batches.
- According to current tendency towards downsizing of components and, as a consequence, to lessening of pad size, it becomes necessary to control the quality of assembled product on all the stages.
- This solution uses three quality control systems, one after each process step: 3D control system of solder paste application after screen stencil printer; optical inspection system of components placing correctness after pick-and-place systems, and soldering quality optical control of ready product after reflow oven.
- Information on each product goes to the common database; that enables tracking the product on each assembly stage and responding to errors during assembly timely (the operator's monitor displays picture of PCB part from three system simultaneously).
- The line contains the most up-to-date pick-and-place systems for SMD components from 01005 up to 50 x 50 mm with speed up to 160,000 CPH.
4. Small Production Line for LED Products Assembling
- The line is designed for manufacturing of LED lamps of different modifications.
- This line is designed specially for beginning manufacturers of LED lighting systems.
- Special nature of LED systems production is the necessity to have high speed equipment for various LEDs and minimal set of SMD components.
- The line is based on architecture of a standard line for SMD component assembly, but the equipment is modified specially for work with LEDs.
- The line works with FR4 PCBs as well as with aluminum PCBs up to 510 x 460 mm.
- The oven length allows working with long aluminum PCBs (with high heat capacity) according to temperature profile recommended by LED vendor, without decreasing of operation time for the rest of the line.
- Special vacuum nozzles are used for placing LEDs on PCBs; they are designed to avoid damage of their silicone lens. These nozzles are made of non-adhesive materials to avoid sticking of lens.
- The unique ability of the line is work with LEDs in bulk; that could lower the cost of purchased components as well as the final cost of the product.
5. Large-sized Production Line for LED Products Assembling
- This solution is mainly designed for mass-scaled production of LED lighting systems and LED screens.
- The line is designed for assembling of PCBs up to 680 x 460 mm, it corresponds to most popular demands of LED lighting market.
- This PCB size allows assembling both classic LED lines and entire PCB of the popular Armstrong lamp.
- The line speed is 82,000 CPH according to IPC-9850, it is enough for production of 120 – 150 Armstrong lamps per hour or 400 – 700 LED stripes.
- The line holds 200 feeders 8 mm to assemble lamp PCBs, power supply units, control boards, and other more complex products with vast number of various SMD components.
- This is a universal solution. The machines work with all up-to-date LED and SMD packaging – reels, sticks, pallets, and bulk components.
